Aims and Scope
POTI A Journal of Thoracic Oncology is a peer-reviewed periodical that provides a dynamic platform for the dissemination of ideas, research, and advancements in the field of thoracic oncology. In our rapidly evolving medical landscape, it is increasingly challenging to isolate developments in one area of oncology or thoracic medicine from another. At the same time, what is traditionally viewed as specialized research in pulmonary oncology is becoming more interconnected with broader aspects of global health, translational medicine, and multidisciplinary care.
The POTI, therefore, aims to maintain the discipline of thoracic oncology as a vibrant and innovative field by fostering cutting-edge research and deepening the understanding of oncological challenges within their clinical and translational contexts. POTI is an open-access, peer-reviewed, and refereed international journal published by Perhimpunan Onkologi Thoraks Indonesia.
POTI focuses on publishing high-quality research that advances the understanding, diagnosis, and treatment of thoracic malignancies. The journal particularly emphasizes novel approaches in clinical and translational oncology, promoting interdisciplinary studies that integrate the latest innovations in personalized medicine, targeted therapies, and patient-centered care. Contributions that bridge scientific discoveries with practical applications in thoracic oncology are highly encouraged.
The scope of POTI encompasses both clinical and translational research in thoracic oncology, with a particular focus on innovative approaches to diagnosis, treatment, and patient care. The Editors encourage authors to submit interdisciplinary articles and/or analyze complex oncological problems from a multidisciplinary perspective. We particularly welcome contributions that elaborate on novel methodologies, emerging technologies, and advancements in personalized medicine.
